The CFD was alerted just after lunch for a possible electrical fire in the area of 3rd and Hussey. Crews arrived and found it to be a meter box smoking. 33 shut off the power and notified West Penn Power of the incident. Responding 33 Units (E-1, Medic 33, Chief 33 w/ Command)

33 Engine 1 and Rescue 33 assisted Station 81 (Monessen) on a smoke in a structure call. Crews found it to be a generator that had burnt up. Chief 33 w/ command.

As 33 was returning from a medical call, Engineer 33-08 found a vehicle accident with hazards at the intersection of 4th and Shady. Crews stabilized the vehicles and performed hazard control. Crews cleared in about an hour. Responding 33 Units (Medic 33, Chief 33 w/ Command)

Yesterday evening the Rescue Truck was requested for shoring and trench rescue equipment along with the Cart Team to Assist 47 with a dog stuck in a hole in the township. As the Rescue arrived on the scene the crew from 47 was able to extricate the dog from the hole safely. Great work gentlemen!

At approximately 13:00 hours this afternoon, Station 33 was alerted along with 47 for a commercial fire alarm at the National Polymers, heat detector activated. While enroute, Engine 2 and Ladder 33 were given an update of a water flow alarm in the building. Upon arrival and a 360 of the building, i...
